Just another rich bloke who doesn't understand what it means to be part of a union.
It was always temporary. They sounded a bit star struck to me.
Hilarious, so still no letter delivery Saturday and all is well now that Rico has given CWU a pat on the head .
Yep. We will find out who's right. Me or Mad.
Sorry not May, April.
This is just for my mail centre in May. Parcels up 22%, letters down 12%. Sick absence 14%. Some of which includes people refusing to come to work. I not sure if those are getting paid or not.
Make no mistake, will we be going on strike. There's no way an agreement will be reach without a fight. However CWU won't call one within the time allowed, because of the virus situation, so will have to re ballot. If they did call one the courts would block it and if they couldn't then I would exercise my ' citizens right to prevent disruption'. We all have to stick together at this time regardless. Country first for me. I still don't thing that most people grasp the situation. Most will catch the virus. A vaccine is unlikely. Many many more will die. I don't see a strike this year.
Wow 90p a share spare cash. Maybe they will announce a special dividend.
What happened to the strike?
I'm curious if I had it or not but it wouldn't make any difference to my life so a bit of a waste of resources.
JB, but what difference would it make to you to know that you had it and might have immunity?
JB, why would knowing that you have had the virus make a difference?
We should gradually relax it with the economy as the deciding factor as to what to relax first. Perhaps cancel the handouts and see what happens.
There is no reliable antibody test and even if they find one it doesn't mean that you are immune. Even the best antibody tests for other viruses have a 1% error rate so antibody testing will be pointless. Serious cases didn't reach the predicted number, hence most of the new IC beds not being used. The government actually brought the lockdown in too soon. They need everyone to catch the virus as quickly as possible without going over IC bed capacity. That is how this has to happen.
Today's share price proves the shorts were wrong.
I would be surprised if CWU call a strike and with over 200 IQ I am rearly surprised.
We will have our day in the sun but right now we have to stay in the trenches.
There won't be a strike. it would be foolish for CWU to call a strike. No appetite for one now in my mail centre with all the turmoil. It's a time to be pulling together for the country regardless of management plans. Government wouldn't allow it anyway.
Overtime ban. Got to be.
Maybe.
