First time looking at Ocado, quite a complex structure to work through but that's fine, watching the investor presentation I couldn't help but stop at 1.10 during CFO walk through - did he really say EBITA positive in the next 4-5 years or was that misunderstood?

The company has a decent moat long term worth further consideration imo.

On top of the FTSE250 trackers there is the MSCI benchmark index, quite a few funds mimic or track these which in turn follow the underlying index to some degree, it used to be quite a thing for inclusion.

I would be surprised if we don't see a gap down in US figures such is the disparity between lagging data, and real world events.

Everything is grinding to a halt due to high rates, few exceptions of course but this is the main culprit downward driver.

From what i can see the US is in far worse shape than headline numbers suggest, the old stalwart of increasing house prices has come to an end, for closures are rising as home owners struggle to meet inflation pressures but also home insurance costs, parts of the US are now becoming uninsurable.

The feds latest comments are perhaps a pointer in this direction, timing any recovery is going to be difficult even if there is a drop in rates which may happen sooner than commentators think.

With that as the backdrop there will be PE running a slide rule over BRBY no doubt, its at times like this when companies are most vulnerable.

The U.K.’s Financial Conduct Authority announced Thursday new rules for the country’s stock market listings in a bid to boost growth following a slow down in IPOs.

The new rules — which come into effect from July 29 — will ensure the U.K.’s listing system is more in line with those in other markets, and will make it simpler and more streamlined, the FCA said in a statement.

The measures mark the biggest change to the listing regime in over three decades, the FCA said. “They aim to support a wider range of companies to issue their shares on a UK exchange, increasing opportunities for investors,” the regulator added.

One key change is the removal of the ‘premium’ and ‘standard’ listing segments. Instead there will be one overall category for equity share listings, which has been named ‘commercial companies.’
