Generally speaking, I wouldn't say they have fallen off a cliff, but more a gradual decline. However, yesterday's downturn about midday can be attributed to that two million trade that went through at 11am.
Not so much because of the size, but moreso the price of 1.035.
It's gone through as a grey trade, which simply means London South East haven't been informed by the stock exchange which side of the average mid price it fell. But from the price and the after effects it can be safely assumed it's a sell.
It could simply be a MM offloading their stock or someone getting out. If it's someone getting out, my first thought when I noticed it yesterday lunchtime, especially with it being a Friday, was does someone know something is about to drop that isn't good news.
I have been in too many shares where bad news was often preceeded by people having clearly been given the heads up so they can get out before the news drops. As I say, it's that price that causes me to think that. It could be nothing. After all, sometimes people have to sell to release money for a whole raft of things. But if something is in the offing, we shall soon know.
The general decline in share price is so typical of AIM stock that go quiet whilst working for a long period of time on some new form of technology. Hence my prediction of sub 1p.
