The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
For me, Im interested in the conventional assets I would like to see a multi well campaign of at least 3 wells+. Hopefully next year around late April/May. With regards Icewine2, Im not confident because of the past troubles with flowing.
Rarely comment on any BB but yesterday mentioned I have been monitoring this and was looking for a drill rig and date before jumping back in. Well they have access to a rig and a vague time frame. Still not taking the plunge but will keep an eye in and wait closer to the time such as Q3
Hope BPC lands this one, I am not in this share but have been watching it for a number of years. The promise & delays had put me off. If a deal can be struck then I think this could be the golden nugget of aim and would of thought if a deal is done that a drill program would happen after hurricane season this year so likely a H1 2019 campaign. If a campaign is announced then I would join in. (pure guess & speculation with regards to a possible drill campaign)
On this, if the rumors about a delay are true then likely share price will take a good hit, which allows people to enter cheaply or lower average if they believe theres profit to be made. Im currently not in but have been in the past a couple of times. This and the Brazil assets are on my radar but for CHAR I wont commit until they announce a spud date & rig, to many companies are slipping drill dates.
Hopefully the equity raise is approved tomorrow & the shares hit the market later in the week and drilling of 103 can start in July. This is a huge one hit wonder, Im in as I think its exciting. Onwards & upwards
I wasnt in for this well but have been in and out a few times over the years as with SOU, always a shame to see people take a hit but for myself Im looking for it to drift down sub 8p and then will give it a roll for Namibia in H2 (hopefully). Shame that the Brazil assets dont have a drill date this year as this area along with S America is becoming popular ( except Venezuela- until regime change) but then again if Namibia goes south then Brazil would currently be CHAR last roll of the dice next year.
To the price RNS & the 5 well program in the new year (Q1). Lots of E&Ps moving into gear next year.
