THG may be pretty silent but it hasn't stopped the directors from buying shares in the past. Please explain why they were pilling in at double the price a few months ago and not one director has purchased since. The directors will need purchase clearance from the Chairman and I suspect it hasn't been given for some reason. I suspect it's because they are in talks and I don't mean with Selkirk as that has already been dealt with. All will be apparent soon enough but I wouldn't want to be out of this over the summer. It would also appear that hedge funds are being used to suppress the price pre takeover and from the US too, you never know Apollo could be back and they have EVRI now.

Selkirk should stick to companies it can afford like Revb. There is more chance of Ingenuity buying Myprotein than them.

I agree Jed as joining the 250 has done absolutely nothing, well apart from the share price falling. Perhaps if we leave the share price will rise.

Judging by the noise on this board I would say that Kelso's intentions would be to try and remove MM but I think that will be just as successful as Selkirks bid. They are both little companies with expansive delusions.

There is an article in Cityam today stating that they are now profitable. It looks as though that has turned out to be an excellent buy.

Kelso are a little outfit even my dogs have more shares than them.

I am of the belief that MA would like to buy THG via a paper offer. Perhaps MM thought the same and that's the reason why the CLN was arranged.

Still no RNS re director and MA buys. I wouldn't be surprised if an offer turns up over the summer, if the share price is languishing at these levels, you never know we could end up with a few bidders.

Considering that Frasers took out a multi year Ingenuity agreement last June I think he would have invested in it don't you. Why would he take out a multi year agreement if he though that Ingenuity was rubbish as is made out on this BB.

They are not traders. They have a job to constantly spread FUD in order to deter potential investors and scare weak holders. If the situation was as bad as they made out they wouldn't waste hours a day trashing a company they had shares in.

Ask yourself why would MA want a stake in Ingenuity if it's so bad. I would suggest that he knows more about UK retailing than the shorts on here. I repeat 89% of THG shareholders voted for the split.

With regards to Ingenuity 89% of shareholders voted for it to be hived off into a private company. I voted against it as I thought it was the wrong thing to do but I opted to take more shares in Ingenuity as I thought it was cheap.

Considering Ingenuity shareholders were getting the company for circa £25m it was 'a steal' but that was the city's valuation , investments like the hotel, spa and Cityam are worth more than that. Ingenuity is becoming less reliant on the remaining THG as it has won several material contract wins since. Could these be from Frasers, quite possibly as MA has invested in Ingenuity.

If MA decides to bid for THG it looks as though he doesn't have a problem with Ingenuity unlike some of the commentators on here. Investors can still buy Ingenuity through JP Jenkins.

With regards to cityam it's good to hear Christian May (cityam editor) giving the morning financial commentary on the Nick Ferrari show on LBC.

There is no way MM would put a bid in as low as 40-60. His fellow directors were buying at 49 a few months ago and after refusing 170 for being too low would not sit well with the larger holders. The price would suggest THG is in distress but it isn't. It wouldn't make sense after you have just done a kitchen sink job to sell at the low. The trough is here and we should have a good wave up soon enough.

I would have thought that its fraudulent for hedge funds/ potential buyers going on to bulletin boards like this that are supposed to be for private investors and spreading FUD. I doubt it's private investors as who is constantly going to knock the company they have invested in several times a day everyday unless they have a medical condition. Even if you look at spread betting, looking at IG only 1% have a short position on THG. So all this FUD is not coming from private investors.

As for market valuations, they are often out. You only have to look at the share price at RR. , it wasn't long ago that they were under 100, they are over 800 now. I have shares in them too and can remember years ago all the FUD being touted on there saying they were going to go bankrupt etc and stupid broker targets from the likes of JP morgan of 50p. It's the market for you, patience is required. Patient investors make money from the impatient. Well it's worked for me.

Please stand up at the AGM and make your feelings known, only a month to go but please don't come back whinging afterwards if you don't.

I don't think the Selkirk bid was fake.

The share price is at these low levels because the hedge funds sell in to any rise. It looks as though they are working in tandem for a buyer. They are keeping the price low for a cheap offer.

I was also a shareholder of Darktrace and similar scare tactics were used on boards mainly focusing on Mike Lynch and saying the company was fraudulent etc. It was an utter disgrace and guess what happened, they got taken over by a US company. Don't listen to all the FUD on here. Wait and see all these so called shareholders speak up at the AGM. They won't...

I think it's better to judge someones business success over a long period of time rather than a few years.

I disagree with regards to Ingenuity being a failed business model as Q1 has seen material contract wins which has underpinned confidence to build out robotic centres in new locations and expand existing ones. Ingenuity is on track to to deliver $900m of revenues, falling capex to $70m and profits of $60m. If Ingenuity grows at such a rate then in turn has to be good for THG. I think we are in the trough but a large wave will come soon enough.

It's probable that Selkirk will come back with a higher offer but there are no doubt others interested too. THG just need to show a few good quarters and the share price will rerate so I doubt MM will be in a hurry to do a deal with the current share price unless the potential offeror comes up with something serious. I can't see MM accepting 70p which has been banded about on here from MA and I would have thought most of the larger holders would want something over 100.
