They have sold but I doubt they have exited, they have just gone below the 0.005%. disclosure limit. They are probably siting in the 0.004's so if they wish to close the entire position there are still plenty of shares to buy back.

With the last update they probably realise the risk reward is no longer in their favour to short as a bid is a high possibility. They could go up 40p plus but they can't go down that amount.

Another hedge fund (gig) reduced their short on the 27th. They still have plenty to buy back. :)

They have already turned down an offer for MP which valued it at between £400-600m so personally I think the Bod would think that the current price is extremely cheap. You never know Selkirk's bid could have sparked the interest of other suitors.

With regards to broker targets if I was swayed by them I would be very poor. JP Morgan on RR. was a classic at 30 odd pence a few years ago. They are nearly £10 now. Not very good for the poor sods who fell for that.

Exactly, 30 days before both, so the closed period is not a reason for the Bod's lack of buying. Can anyone give any other reasons why they haven't purchased. I was just trying to make a point and considering the latest update you would think that they would all be pilling in at these ridiculously low levels. My take on it is that they are in discussions which would materially move the share price, they may come to nothing but it's just an observation that's all. Let's face it even MM in the past has mentioned that every PE house has had discussions with him in the past so considering where the price currently sits it's not farcical to think that they are not happening right now.

Having my post removed because I stated that not one director has purchased any shares as of late when they were pilling in months ago at circa 49p is a fact. It's also a fact that directors can't purchase in a closed period or when they are in take over discussions. Make your own minds up.

This is not a blatant ramp its the truth or have they bought but I haven't seen any RNS stating this or is it because THG has a 4 month closed period...

If a respectable offer came in for THG the BOD would have to consider it. I'm still perplexed as to why none of the directors haven't bought any more shares when they were piling in at a much higher price a few months ago and since then the growth has been quite exceptional which obviously the hedge funds weren't expecting. I may be wrong but I feel they have been in discussions either for a division or the whole company and with regards to price it would have to be over 100 to get their attention. Put yourselves in the directors boots, wouldn't you be buying by the bucket loads if you could? No wonder the Kelso offer was kicked out of the park at £600m after the recent growth.

The picture is looking a lot rosier for THG shareholders, even the press viewed the last update as positive and the hedge funds have been buying back. I can't see the price remaining at these low levels for long. The hedge funds must feel a bid is more than probable in the short term and I doubt they will want the risk of holding knowing that as if this were to happen it would be at multiples of the current price. Anyway the long term suffering shareholders have a lot to look forward to going forward.

The anti MM crew have gone rather quiet since the update and you have to wonder what their motives were. Personally I think he is the best person to turn the ship around as he knows THG better than anyone else and he has a lot to prove. Let's hope he can continue the drive in growth and make lots of profits for his shareholders. On that note it's good to hear that MA is a friendly shareholder and he clearly backed MM at the AGM which is another positive.

It's quite interesting that negative broker ratings come out after a decent update. Why is this? Personally I think it's to help their hedge fund friends out. If any of you are longterm holders in RR. you will know the brokers like JP Morgan were giving valuations of below 50p a few years ago, look where they are now. I said a few weeks ago that we were in the trough now we have a large wave to carry us back up. The hedge funds have a lot of shares to buy back, we have a large buyer in MA and ii's will follow.

I don't think we will be in the 30's for long Stan. The buying pressure should propel this higher in the coming weeks. I'm sure the shorters would prefer to close their positions in the 30's opposed to the 40's and 50's. Prices can change very quickly and THG deserves a re-rate.

The hedge funds will have to close at some point. THG is now growing and any sniff of whey prices falling then that will be a driving catalyst. This has been whey oversold. :)

THG are vulnerable to a bid but I can't see MM accepting anything below 100 and quite rightly so as it could easily pass this level now the company has some wind in its sails. There are a lot of shorts to close and they must see that there is little to no downside and this should propel the share price somewhat. The hedge funds have used the momentum stopping investors out to reach this low and unrealistic share price which has resulted in a mkt cap of less than £400m. Hopefully ii's will have taken note of yesterdays news and will start to add. I am glad I had the good fortune to bring my average down substantially and I will continue to add at these give away prices.

I had a feeling the shorts were high but 25% is good news for long termer's as they will have to close at some point. Hopefully THG will not return to the 20's again and we should have a quick ride up to the 50's and beyond.

This time last year the share price was in the 70"s if the growth continues it shouldn't take long to get back to these levels. PE will be circling now and the hedge funds are in for a hiding, let's hope the upswing is quick.

A very positive update for a change. It looks like we will see the end of the 20's today and propel forward to a proper valuation as there is little room on the downside for the hedge funds. This could get quite interesting as I reckon the short positions are >15%.

The LSE requires trades to be notified within 3 minutes. I have noticed when I have been buying sometimes that they are not even shown at real time and the one hour delayed time.

The share register doesn't add up either if there is supposed to be 1.3bn shares issued.

MA has managed it with ASOS and BOO. What makes you think he won't try it here. If he was to do it he could build up to 30% and offer paper in Frasers for the rest. THG would fit into Frasers better than BOO or ASOS.

MA will pick up as much as he can in the market before placing a bid. he has another 17% to pick up before the mandatory 30% level.

A response from a former NCC ceo, Oh I wonder who has a holding in NCC. Kelso rings a bell and they have an interest in Selkirk. This constant transparent bs is getting rather annoying. I think there are a quite a few posters here from Kelso/Selkirk camp as well as the hedge funds. The knockers are really getting desperate now. I bought a few today but will buy even more tomorrow.

Great suggestion with regards to Poppy Gustaffson. I was a shareholder in Darktrace and I was very impressed with her and with the way she fought the hedge funds with their FUD. I am surprised that one of them didn't face a legal battle for spreading false news for their own benefit.

I think she would offer strength, leadership and freshness. I would increase my holding if she was the new Chair.

They site Mypotein in a THG Ingenuity case study. Considering they developed Ingenuity I think THG would be using all the services. I'm sure if you looked at other companies costs for logistics, advertising, studio use, recycling, commerce, translation etc then Ingenuity wouldn't look expensive. Perhaps a detailed breakdown wouldn't be a bad idea but would shareholders really want a 1000 page final report.
