It is rather strange that Kelso have gone quiet. Is this because they are party to potential talks, that Selkirk have reengaged or that MM has put pressure on them because of his holding in Kelso?

With regards to the larger institutions, they could have hedged their positions so are not really bothered. Unfortunately the pi's are the losers. The city and hedge funds have played into MM's hands by pushing the price down as it has enabled him to do the CLN at 32p.

It benefits MA by increasing turnover having 2 world leading brands which would integrate well into Frasers and not having to borrow more money in the process. For MM he would still have skin in the game, probably be offered a seat at the Board and would be able to concentrate on Ingenuity where he can operate outside of the city which despises him. Larger institutions would also prefer to have shares in a larger retail outfit such as Frasers. It all comes down to price, as much as I would love to see 170 I can't see that unless there is a bidding war which could happen.

It's a better metric than the tide.

Why would you suggest Ingenuity is in distress with revenue potentially hitting circa $900m. They have just issued more shares at 46p, that's nearly double of the current THG price. Why the need for constant FUD. If Ingenuity was so bad then how come they have won more material contracts and continue to invest in more robotic warehousing.

Why are they being so secretive about someone buying more shares at 46p in Ingenuity? Do you not think MA would want a larger stake in Ingenuity if he is about to bid for THG considering the contract they have.

Put yourself in MA's shoes, if he bids for THG he is going to want to have a larger stake in Ingenuity considering the contract THG has with it.

Issue more shares after a few months and we were told revenue will be circa $900m, profit of circa $60m and capex falling to $70m from $120. The analysts would be working on previous projections, ie looking in the rear view mirror. What would be their take since THG have won material contracts. The analyst weren't working on Ingenuity revenue of $900m were they, or if they were could you please share it with us.

Who have the new Ingenuity shares gone to, why the big secret? Surely they are obliged to inform investors of a 25% increase in shares after we were told in the prospectus that they had enough money for at least the next two years. Who has the sweetener been given to?

Also why would they go hostile as surely they would want clarity on the Ingenuity contract. That's why MA could have been issued more shares in Ingenuity. Why are Ingenuity keeping so quiet about to who the shares went to and why issue them now? Something is going on behind the scenes.

Kelso have gone rather quiet on the matter, let's face it last year they wanted to out the chairman and since the share price has performed badly to say the least so I assume they have been party to discussions too as otherwise they would want more than the chairman out.

The fact that Ingenuity issued more shares literally a few months since they have separated is rather suspicious. MM pointed out recently that capex is falling and they have more than enough money for the foreseeable future, so why now. Some were issued at circa 8p and the others at 46p. I assume some are performance related but the others were allowed to be issued to a trading partner. Could this be a sweetener to MA? Something is going on behind the scenes, my bet is that THG get an offer before the AGM by MA. The share price is most probably being held down for VWAP as the risk reward for hedge funds is way out of kilter. The question is what will we get? Probably no more than 80p in Frasers paper.

Remember the stock market is a device to transfer money from the impatient to the patient.

How do you know that they aren't receiving boat loads of offers. Still no RNS with regards to MA's or directors buying. I would be shocked if they aren't in discussions.

That's all very well of kicking them out but who do you propose to replace them with?

If MM stays let's hope he can turn 25p into £2.50.

My dogs and I have more than we really wanted but saw no other option than to average down. I'm still undecided as to how I'm going to vote, the one thing that I feel is really arrogant about the company is that the investor relations department have never once replied to any of my correspondence. In all my years of investing this has to be a first. In fact in most cases the CEO or at the very leat the CFO will contact me.

I think the company has been ridiculously oversold probably because MM has made quite a few enemies but on the one hand I still think he could be the best person to turn this ship around as lets face it MM hasn't been to blame for everything as the retail environment has been choppy to say the least. I have had the good fortune to know and have known many great businessmen in my lifetime and know that they have faced hard times in some periods but they always have come back stronger. I hope this is the case for MM for the sake for all the private investors.

I am wary and concerned of MA's intentions, is he a friend or foe of MM. They are an odd couple but they have a few things in common most importantly their hatred and mistrust of the City. We all know about MM ramblings but Ashley called analysts 'cry babies' after a profit warning and he has accused investors of stabbing him in the back. They are both empire builders and they are both prone to having shifts in strategy. I just hope they aren't working in concert together in order to get THG on the cheap and stab private investors in the back. One thing is for sure is they both have the arrogance and thick skin to try and do it. I really hope this is not the case for all the genuine holders.

I can't see MM being voted off and he wouldn't get away with 60p, that's too low.

Leaving the 250 is FUD, since THG has been in the 250 the share price has seen all time lows.

It was reported in the press that Apollo used Tony Buffin to draw up an offer for THG. Now he is a director of APN I wonder if Apollo would be interested in taking them over.

Total market manipulation, pushing the price down with A trades and buying back with O trades. You can sell 1 million shares at a higher price than the quoted price but try buying just 100,000 and you have to pay more. It goes to show there is a buyer if they will soak up that amount in one go. Is it MA playing with CFD's or is it the hedge funds buying back. Well at least I have ben able to increase my holding and bring my average down.

Peel Hunt have a current base value of £775m alone on nutrition. I would say that's conservative on 1.2x revenue and 12x ebitda. With lowering whey prices we should have a good H2. The current market cap of £350m is ridiculous and to think it has been driven down largely by hedge funds with small volume using algo's.
