Pets at Home hires new CFO Sarah Pollard from PZ Cussons

Mon, 29th Sep 2025 11:44

(Alliance News) - Pets at Home PLC on Monday said it has hired Sarah Pollard from PZ Cussons PLC as its new chief financial officer and executive director.

Pollard is currently CFO of the Manchester-based consumer goods firm PZ Cussons, whose brands include Imperial Leather and Carex.

Before PZ Cussons, she was finance director at Birds Eye and deputy CFO of its New York-listed parent Nomad Foods Ltd. She has also worked at FTSE 100 listings Unilever PLC and Diageo PLC.

PZ Cussons said it will update further on her departure date and replacement "in due course".

Pets at Home also will confirm Pollard's appointment date "in due course", though it said outgoing CFO Mike Iddon will remain in his role until spring 2026. He has held the position for nine years.

The Cheshire, England-based pet care products retailer and veterinary services provider noted that Pollard's selection was the result of "a comprehensive search that began some months ago".

Pets at Home shares were up 1.8% to 206.80 pence on Monday morning in London, while PZ Cussons traded marginally lower at 80.40p.
