EXECUTIVE CHANGES: Clinigen taps new chair; essensys hires from WeWork

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Tuesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Clinigen Group PLC - Staffordshire-based pharmaceuticals services and products - Hires Elmar Schnee as independent non-executive director & chair-designate and Ian Johnson as senior independent director. Schnee, a former Merck KGaA executive, will replace Peter Allen as chair at the November annual general meeting. Schnee most recently was chair of Nasdaq-listed Jazz Pharmaceuticals PLC. Johnson is executive chair of AIM-listed asthma care company Circassia Group PLC and also non-executive chair of Redcentric PLC. He will replace Anne Hyland as senior independent director, though Hyland will remain on the board as a non-executive director. Additionally, Ian Nicholson will step down from the board in November.

Trinity Exploration & Production PLC - oil assets in Trinidad and Tobago - Executive Chair Bruce Dingwall is hospitalised for a "serious health incident". Trinity says Dingwall is in stable condition. Senior Independent Director Nicholas Clayton becomes interim non-executive chair. Managing Director Jeremy Bridglalsingh continues to lead the executive management team.

San Leon Energy PLC - oil and gas production, development and exploration in Nigeria - Chief Financial Officer Lisa Mitchell resigns after two years in post to take up a new role. Mitchell will remain for a handover while San Leon searches for a new CFO.

Warpaint London PLC - colour cosmetics under the W7 and Technic brands - Hires John Collier as independent non-executive director, starting September 1. Collier is a Canadian who is based in New York and served as president of North America for cosmetics firm Revlon Inc from 1996 to 2018.

essensys PLC - London-based software and cloud services for flexible workspace industry - Hires Eric Schaffer as CEO of Asia-Pacific business, effective immediately. Schaffer is head of Real Estate Advisory for APAC at flexible space provider WeWork. Schaffer will report to essensys Founders & CEO Mark Furness.

Altus Strategies PLC - mining royalties in Africa - Hires Mark Campbell as general manager of the Egyptian branch of 100% subsidiary Akh Gold Holdings Ltd. Campbell also will be chair of the subsidiary. Akh Gold recently was awarded four gold projects in the Eastern Desert of Egypt. Campbell is based in Cairo and is the retired CEO of Toronto-listed Aton Resources Inc.

Gowin New Energy Group Ltd - Taiwan-based LED-related products and high-mountain tea - Wang Huai Chun resigns as CFO, effective immediately. Appoints Shu Yi How in his place.
