(Alliance News) - Investment firm RiverFort Global Opportunities PLC on Wednesday said it has participated in the GBP4.8 million capital raise by AIM-listed security services provider Westminster Group PLC, announced last Thursday.
Westminster Group's finance package comprises a mezzanine loan of up to GBP3 million of which GBP1.5 million will be drawn initially, and an equity placing and sharing agreement.
RiverFort Global said it will invest GBP250,000 in the mezzanine loan and will have a corresponding interest in the equity placing and sharing agreement, both through a participation certificate issued by RiverFort Global Opportunities PCC Ltd rather than through a direct interest in the financing arrangements.
RiverFort Global shares closed untraded at 0.07 pence each in London on Wednesday. Westminster Group shares ended down 1.7% at 10.40p each.
