LONDON, Dec 3 (Reuters) - Real-estate firms BarrattDevelopments and Taylor Wimpey will joinBritain's FTSE 100 equity index, replacing two stockshit by the recent sell-off in commodities, the London StockExchange said.
Barratt and Taylor Wimpey will replace energy servicescompany Petrofac and engineer IMI. The twohomebuilders' shares have gained 30 percent and 20 percentrespectively this year on the back of Britain's rising propertymarket. Petrofac and IMI will join the FTSE 250 index.
