TRADING UPDATES: Tandem says revenue to fall, in line with market view

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of updates by London-listed companies, issued on Wednesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Gaming Realms PLC - London-based developer and licensor of mobile-focused gaming content - Expects to report 2022 revenue of GBP18.7 million, up 27% from GBP14.7 million a year ago. Expects adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation of about GBP7.7 million, up 36% from GBP5.7 million. Executive Chair Michael Buckley says: "We are seeing good momentum, and backed by an exciting commercial pipeline and new games, we are confident that we will achieve further progress in 2023." Additionally, promotes Chief Financial Officer Mark Segal to Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. Names Finance Director Geoff Green as CFO, also starting immediately.

Tandem Group PLC - Solihull, England-based sports product distributor - Says revenue for 2022 is expected to reach GBP26.7 million, down 35% on the prior year, but in line with market expectations. For 2021, revenue was GBP40.9 million. Expects pretax profit to be in line with market expectations too. Says 2023 starts slowly amid early Chinese New Year and as "consumers remain cautious with their purchasing". However, says it expects to see a different trading pattern this year, and will be targeting between 8% and 12% like-for-like growth on the full year.

Gem Diamonds Ltd - diamond producer with diamond mining operations in Lesotho and Botswana - Says all operational metrics achieved for 2022 are within or better than guidance. Recovers 26,530 carats during the fourth quarter that ended on December 31, resulting in 106,704 carats recovered for the year. This is down from 115,335 a year ago. Sells 107,487 carats in 2022, down 2.0% from 109,698 a year ago. Average price per carat in 2020 stands at USD1,755, down from USD1,835 a year earlier.

SulNOx Group PLC - London-based green technology company - Says revenue in the third quarter ended December 31 amounts to GBP45,720, up 9.1% from GBP41,901 in the second quarter. Revenue for the nine months to December 12 amounts to GBP120,515, nearly quadrupled from GBP31,386 a year earlier. Says the fourth quarter has started positively with a purchase order from a bulk carrier shipping company.
