LONDON (Alliance News) - Strategic Equity Capital PLC Wednesday said its net asset per share increased at a slightly slower pace than its benchmark during the three months to September 30.
Net assets per share increased 15.2% during the period, behind the 16.1% rise in the FTSE Smaller Companies excluding Investment Trusts index.
The company said a strong results season was behind the increase, with all its portfolio holdings producing a positive return over the period.
"Portfolio valuation remains attractive with a high operating cash flow yield and improving consensus earnings, which now forecast double digit growth for the year," the company said in a statement.
Net asset value was GBP90.3 million or 145.5 pence per share at the end of the period.
The company's shares were Wednesday quoted at 140.00 pence, down 0.2%.
