redT energy Appoints New CFO, COO In Executive Team Shake-Up

LONDON (Alliance News) - Energy storage solutions firm redT energy PLC announced Wednesday a number of senior executive changes, including a new chief financial officer and new chief operating officer.

redT has appointed Fraser Welham as its new CFO, effective from April 3. Welham was previously managing director for finance at The Green Investment Group, and was also previously CFO at Shanks Group PLC, now part of Renewi PLC.

He will replace Scott Laird, who is leaving the board on April 3 and as finance director at the end of April.

David Steward has been promoted to chief operating officer from commercial director, and Jean-Louis Cols has been appointed technology director.

Chief Executive Scott McGregor said: "I'm very excited to have assembled a management team of this calibre at redT. The collective experience and knowledge base of our executive team is first class and demonstrates our leading position in the energy storage sector.

"This announcement shows our ability to recruit best in class personnel and our determination to utilise the best resources from other sectors to capture the market opportunity in front of us."

redT shares were up 1.9% on Wednesday at 6.72 pence each.
