Dana Petroleum's founder and chief executive Tom Cross is taking over as executive chairman at oil and gas-focused investor and adviser Parkmead Group.Cross, who tried unsuccessfully to fend off the recent £1.7bn bid from Korea's KNOC, will replace non-executive chairman and former BP man Colin Goodall who retires on 8 November.A non-executive director at Parkmead since October 2006, Cross is also chairman of BRINDEX, the Association of British Independent Oil Companies. "The board is delighted to welcome Tom as our new chairman and we are excited about the next phase of the group's development," chief executive Niall Doran said Wednesday.
