(Alliance News) - Pets At Home Group PLC on Friday said it has hired Karen Whitworth as an independent non-executive director.
The FTSE 250 animal products retailer said Whitworth will succeed Sharon Flood as chair of the audit and risk committee as Flood commences her role of remuneration committee chair.
Whitworth's hire comes after Paul Moody stepped down as independent non-executive director on Thursday after serving for six years.
Whitworth is currently a non-executive director of Tritax Big Box REIT PLC and a non-executive director at gambling firm Rank Group PLC.
Pets at Home shares were trading 2.5% higher at 233.45 pence each on on Friday morning in London.
