Sepura said Chairman-designate Russell King bought 20,000 shares at a price of 158 pence per share Wednesday.
The purchase is his only holding.
The critical communications provider on Wednesday said it has appointed King as its new chairman, effective from after its annual general meeting on September 7.
King will take over from John Hughes, who has been in the role for five years and will remain with the company as a strategic advisor.
Shares closed up 0.3% at 157.00p Thursday

Devro Thursday said Chief Executive Officer Peter Page bought 10,00 shares at a price of 318.5 pence per share. Following this transaction, Following this purchase, Page and his connected persons hold 672,440 shares, being 0.403% of issued shares. Shares closed flat at 320.00p Thursday.

Norcros said Chairman Martin Towers bought 125,000 shares at a price of 19.935 pence per share Thursday. Following this transaction, Towers holds 1.3 million shares in the shower and tile maker. The stock closed at 20.75p up 3.8% Thursday.

Revenue in South Africa declines by about 25%, while revenue in the UK grows 1%. Company highlights national energy supply constraints impacting home market demand in South Africa.
