Monks Investment Trust PLC - investment company which focuses on long-term investment growth - Raises GBP100 million through issue of long-term fixed rate senior unsecured notes. The financing will aid Monks ability to reach its target gearing level of 10%. The notes will be issued in two tranches, one tranche of GBP60 million with a fixed coupon of 1.86% to be repaid in 2054, and another of GBP40 million with a fixed coupon of 1.77% to be repaid in 2045.
