IPSA Says Malaysian Case Adjourned, Construction Starting

Thu, 05th Nov 2015 12:05

LONDON (Alliance News) - Power plant developer IPSA Group PLC on Thursday said Iris Ecopower Sdn Bhd has requested an adjournment on its application in the court case between the two in Malaysia.

A new date for the upcoming hearing in the case, which related to Iris failing to complete the purchase of turbines in 2012, has been set for February 2016.

South Africa-focused IPSA also said construction has started on installing Jenbacher engines at its Newcastle plant, with the commercial operation date now set for February 2016 due to delays in the construction programme.

IPSA shares are currently suspended.
