LONDON (Alliance News) - 3i Group PLC is understood to be among a group of investors weighing a bid for a stake in the restaurant chain empire of celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, Sky News reports Monday quoting sources.
The FTSE 100-listed private equity company is among a set of prospective investors who have been approached to gauge their interest in buying a big stake in the business, which runs the Jamie's Italian and Jamie Oliver's Diner brands, Sky said.
Royal Bank of Canada is handling the talks with potential investors, with Oliver said to be seeking a valuation of around GBP200 million for the restaurants.
