LONDON (Alliance News) - Gift packaging and greetings cards retailer International Greetings PLC on Monday said it put in a strong performance over the Christmas period, with results in line with its expectations.
The group said it is remains confident it will deliver the earnings per share growth that it had expected for the year to the end of March, as the robust performance it saw in the first half of its financial year to September 30 continued over the key festive period.
International Greetings said its trading over the autumn and winter period was helped by its licensed product portfolio, which includes the Star Wars franchise and the 'Minions' and 'Frozen' ranges, based on the two popular animated films.
"The group's overall progress is very encouraging and reflects our focus on providing great products, design and service to our customers around the world," said Chief Executive Paul Fineman.
