LONDON, Dec 15 (Reuters) - Iberia owner IAG is
assessing its options to see if there is an alternative way to
keep an Air Europa deal alive after it said earlier on Wednesday
it was set to cancel the acquisition, Chief Executive Luis
Gallego said.
"Unfortunately, because of the devastating effects of the
pandemic, the conditions are not favourable" he told the online
Capa Live conference. "We are assessing all the possibilities to
continue."
"We are not going to continue with the current structure, we
are trying to have a new structure that (will) allow this deal
to happen."
