LONDON (Alliance News) - Devon-based pub operator Heavitree Brewery PLC Friday reported higher profit in its most recent financial year, on stable revenue and profit on the sale of property, plant and equipment.
The company reported a pretax profit of GBP1.6 million for the year ended October 31, 2014 compared with GBP1.0 million a year earlier, as it showed stable revenue, higher operating profit and a GBP466,000 profit on sale of property, plant and equipment.
"This is despite the loss of rental income from two closed pubs which are waiting to be refurbished," the company said.
Heavitree Brewery shares were untraded Friday. The stock closed at 487.50 pence on Thursday.
