LONDON (Alliance News) - Henderson International Income Trust PLC said Tuesday it outperformed its benchmark in the half year ended February 28.
The trust posted a total return on net asset value per share of 6.2%, slightly outperforming the MSCI World ex UK Index which saw a total return of 6.0%.
Henderson noted that whilst there has been a lot of discussions about the reduction of quantitative easing in the US, "monetary policy around the world remains focused on fostering economic growth and stimulating stubbornly low levels of inflation."
It expressed confidence about its portfolio's potential for long term capital and income growth.
Shares in Henderson International closed up 0.3% at 112.68 pence Tuesday.
