(Alliance News) -Â easyHotel PLC said Monday it is seeing a reduction in forward bookings for the next three months due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
This comes against a backdrop of "a clearly escalating and material reduction to domestic and international travel as a result of Covid-19", and is expected to hit occupancy levels at its hotels in the UK and Europe.
"It is too early to estimate what the full impact from Covid-19 will be on the group's performance for the current financial year, however, the board is assessing the actions it can take to respond to the unprecedented market challenges it faces," said easyHotel, adding it is monitoring the situation "closely".
Shares in easyHotel were down 23% at 60.00 pence in London on Monday.
