EnSilica PLC - Oxfordshire, England-based semiconductor designer and supplier with design centres in India and Brazil - Trades strongly for the year ended May 31, with revenue and Ebitda on-track to surpass expectations. Revenue is set to increase 76% to GBP15.1 million from GBP8.6 million the year before, while Ebitda hikes to GBP500,000 from GBP60,000. Looking ahead, EnSilica makes strong start to current financial year, supported by strong forward order book and new business pipeline.

Ariana Resources PLC - gold producer in Turkey and explorer Kosovo and Cyprus - For the first half of 2022, production at the Kiziltepe mine in Turkey was 13,378 ounces of gold, 7% above forecast. As a a result, maintains gold output guidance for 2022 at 25,000 ounces.

Proteome Sciences PLC - drug development services provider - Completes next milestone towards launch of Single Cell Proteomics services, with the installation of a cellenONE platform, which will allow the semi-automated preparation of up to 2,700 cells per week. Company believes that most commercial projects will need analysis of 500 to 1,000 cells using TMTpro multiplexing, and will be able to perform one to two such studies a week.

Creo Medical Group PLC - Chepstow, Wales-based medical devices for surgical endoscopy - For the first half of 2022, expects revenue to rise at least 10% above figure for the second half of 2021, due to growth from Creo's core technology as well as first revenue from the Kamaptive licensing programme. As a result, Creo anticipates a narrowing in underlying loss before interest, tax, deprecation and amortisation, compared to the second half of 2021.

Vaalco Energy Inc - Houston, Texas-based hydrocarbon exploration company - At the South Tchiblala 1HB-ST well in the Etame field, offshore Gabon, company penetrates a thin section of the Gamba not economic viable to completes, and discovers two potential Dentale producing zones. The Deep Dentale D1 sand interval has good quality oil with low gas ratio, but production rates are well below minimum recommend operating range of the pump. As a result, the well will be intermittently flowed, using well cycling to determine if improvement will occur. In addition, Vaalco reduces net output guidance for 2022 to a range of 9,000 to 9,500 barrels of oil per day.

Edenville Energy PLC - London-based developer of Tanzania's Brownfield Rukwa coalfields - Appoints new on-site management team to run the mine at Rukwa coal project in Tanzania. Also announces offtake requests for an aggregate 5,000 tonnes of wished coal in August, comprising a 4,000t export order to a new Kenyan customer, and 1,000t to an existing customer in Tanzania. New customer also indicates potential requirement of up to 12,000 tonnes per month, which Edenville will attempt to fulfil, but admits there will be challenges.

Scirocco Energy PLC - Leeds, England-based oil & gas investment company - At annual general meeting, resolutions five and six fail to pass, meaning that company is in default of the terms of the Prolific Basins facility. Company will look to engage with Prolific Basins on the next steps, which may include Scirocco needing to settle in the near term the outstanding balance of USD545,000.
