LONDON (Alliance News) - Edenville Energy PLC Friday said Non-Executive Chairman Sally Schofield, who worked her way up the ranks within the company since its inception, has resigned for personal reasons.
Schofield will stay on for the next month to facilitate an orderly transfer of responsibilities to Edenville's Chief Executive, Rufus Short, who will assume her responsibilities whilst a replacement is found.
Schofield will also remain available to the company on a consultancy basis.
"Sally has made the decision to resign for personal reasons and to allow her to fully manage her personal commitments outside of Edenville," the company said. "The company would sincerely like to thank Sally for her strong contribution and dedication during her time with Edenville."
Schofield was with the company from its inception in 2010, starting off as a non-executive director before being promoted to executive chairman, which was then later turned into a non-executive role back in 2015.
Edenville shares were trading down 5.7% to 0.0271 pence per share on Friday morning.
