LONDON (Alliance News) - ECR Minerals PLC on Wednesday outlined plans to immediately advance work on the Avoca and Bailieston gold projects in Australia, sending its shares higher.
ECR said the key objective at Avoca is to demonstrate the viability of reprocessing historical waste dumps at the site to produce gold. The group is now planning to complete a mineral resource estimate for the project and carry out metallurgical test work on the site.
At Bailieston, the plans involve completing an air-core drilling programme in June, targeting the Black Cat and Byron areas.
ECR shares were up 21% to 0.24 pence.
