IN BRIEF: CAP-XX raises GBP2.8 million to fund product development

CAP-XX Ltd - supercapacitors manufacturer - Raises GBP2.8 million through placing of 51.6 million shares at a price of 5.5 pence per share, alongside sale of 10.5 million shares at the same issue price.

Bookbuilding was managed by joint broker Cenkos Securities PLC.

Proceeds from the placing will go towards increasing the sales and marketing capacity of the business, fund new product development and added investment in supply chain systems, and provide additional working capital.

Issue price reflected 11% discount to Monday's closing price of 6.20p.

Current stock price: 6.23p, up 3.9%

Year-to-date change: down 53%
