Checkit PLC - Cambridge-based workflow management software developer - Sells certain assets of Elektron Eye Technology Ltd to Topcon Europe Medical BV, a Topcon Corp subsidiary and Elektron Eye's largest customer for GBP800,000 in cash, payable in 24 equal monthly instalments. Assets sold relate to the Henson 9000 and Henson 7000 instruments. Proceeds from the disposal will be used for working capital purposes of Checkit. Will seek to dispose of the remaining product line, the MPSII. Any residual assets and liabilities of Elektron Eye will then be crystallised but any proceeds are unlikely to be material to Checkit after deduction of costs.
