(Sharecast News) - Centamin revealed on Wednesday that non-executive director Mark Bankes had acquired 40,000 ordinary shares in the FTSE 250-listed gold miner.
Bankes, who was appointed to the board of Centamin in February 2011, purchased the shares at an average price of 92.43p each, for a total value of £36,972.
Following the transaction, Bankes holds a total of 260,000 ordinary shares in the company.
As of 1620 BST, Centamin shares were up 0.40% at 93.41p.

Centamin says 2022 gold output as expected, sees rise in 2023
