The UK small caps index closes 0.1 percent higher,against a 0.2 percent stronger midcaps and a 0.3 percentrise in the FTSE AIM All Share index.

Severfield-Rowen drops 4 percent after saying the 15month period to 31 March 2013 has been extremely challenging forthe group, with problems on its 122 Leadenhall Street contractbeing the most significant of several contract issues, whichcontributed to the financial loss for the period.
