The UK small caps index closes 0.1 percent higher,against a 0.2 percent stronger midcaps and a 0.3 percentrise in the FTSE AIM All Share index.
B.P. Marsh & Partners, a venture capital provider toearly stage financial services businesses, falls 2 percent afterannouncing its results for the year that ended on Jan. 31.
"We maintain our 'hold' recommendation and 130 pence targetprice reflecting the uncertainty over what will happen to theHyperion proceeds and a flagged new investment likely to beannounced in the next week or so," Panmure Gordon says in anote.
Severfield-Rowen drops 4 percent after saying the 15month period to 31 March 2013 has been extremely challenging forthe group, with problems on its 122 Leadenhall Street contractbeing the most significant of several contract issues, whichcontributed to the financial loss for the period.
