DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: 2nd PureTech Non-Executive Buys Shares

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Friday.

PureTech Health said Non-Executive Director John LaMattina bought 11,000 shares in a deal worth GBP15,125 on Thursday. The shares were bought at about GBP1.375 each.

Following this transaction, LaMattina holds 1.5 million shares, which represents 0.60% stake in the firm. The purchase follows those of Non-Executive Director Marjorie Scardino who recently bought 30,000 shares.

PureTech also said Friday it received a notice of allowance from the US Patent and Trademark Office for a patent related to its principal technology platform to treat hair loss.

The patent will be issued to its subsidiary Follica and will cover varying methods of disruption of the epidermis, followed by modulation through application of a number of different compounds, it said.

Shares in the research and development company closed up 1.4% at 147.00p Friday.

Marshalls said Non-Executive Director Janet Ashdown bought 5,900 shares at a price of 337.3 pence per share Tuesday. The purchase is her only holding after being appointed in March. Shares in the construction materials supplier closed down 0.2% at 353.33p Friday.

British Polythene Industries said Michael Huyghe, a senior manager, sold 25,000 shares at a price of 700 pence per share Thursday.The deal is worth GBP175,000 gross. Following this transaction, Huyghe holds 83,292 shares, which represents a 0.31% stake in the firm. Shares in the polythene maker closed up 2.0% at 714.00p Friday.

IP Group said Chief Financial Officer Greg Smith sold 90,000 shares at a price of 224.5 pence per share Thursday. Following this transaction, Smith is beneficially interested in a total of 240,233 shares, representing 0.04% of the issued share capital. Shares in the intellectual property developer closed down 1.3% at 235.80p Friday.

IMI said Non-Executive Director Isobel Sharp bought 3,000 shares at a price of 1,026 pence per share. Her total shareholding was undisclosed. Shares in the engineering products company closed down 0.9% at 1,020.58p Friday.
