Domino's Pizza Names Smith Permanent CFO, Adds Two New Directors

Wed, 02nd Sep 2020 09:12

(Alliance News) - Domino's Pizza Group PLC on Wednesday said Neil Smith has been hired as permanent chief financial officer as it announced the hire of Natalia Barsegiyan and Lynn Fordham as non-executive directors.

The FTSE 250-listed pizza delivery company said Smith - who joined as interim CFO on April 15 - was hired on a permanent basis effective from Tuesday. He was CFO of pub operator Ei Group PLC from 2011 until its takeover by Stonegate Pub Co in March

Barsegiyan retired as CFO of Yum! Brands subsidiary Taco Bell in April 2020. She was chief commercial officer for Yum! Brands from 2016 to 2018 and general manager of Pizza Hut Europe from 2013 to 2016. She was previously CFO of Pizza Hut UK.

Fordham is has been managing partner of private equity firm Larchpoint Capital LLP since 2017. She was previously chief executive of SVG Capital PLC from 2009 to 2017, having joined the private equity and investment manager as CFO in 2008.

She has also held senior finance roles at FTSE 100-listed housebuilder Barratt Developments PLC, BAA PLC - now Heathrow Airport Holdings Ltd - and Boots PLC. She served on the board of pub company Fuller, Smith & Turner PLC as a non-executive director and chair of the audit committee from 2011 to 2018.

"I am delighted to welcome Natalia and Lynn as non-executive directors. Both have highly relevant experience and impressive track records of value creation. I am also very pleased to welcome Neil to the board. Neil has built upon the foundations laid by David Bauernfeind, bringing further rigour to the business and is a valued strategic partner to Dominic. These appointments mark an important milestone in the evolution of the board and I am looking forward to working with them," said Chair Matt Shattock.
