Airea names Conleth Campbell as new chief financial officer

Tue, 03rd Oct 2023 11:51

(Alliance News) - Airea PLC on Tuesday named Conleth Campbell as its new chief financial officer.

In July, the West Yorkshire-based flooring company said its finance chief Ryan Thomas would step down "to pursue a new opportunity in a new sector".

At the time, Airea said Thomas would remain a member of the board until September 22.

His successor, Campbell was previously group financial controller of Genuit Group PLC. Genuit is a Leeds, England-based provider of water, climate and ventilation systems for built environment.

He has also held the position of head of Capital Markets for Croda International PLC, a Yorkshire, England-based chemicals maker.

Airea added that Campbell has strong expertise in capital markets including mergers & aquisitions and investor relations.

Chief Executive Officer Mederic Payne said: "Conleth's extensive experience in senior finance positions within listed companies across multiple industries will be invaluable as we continue to drive the group's UK and international growth, including our focus on productivity and sustainability."

Airea shares were flat at 27.01 pence each on Tuesday morning in London.
