LONDON (Alliance News) - Allergy vaccination developer Allergy Therapeutics PLC on Friday said it has appointed former Skyepharma PLC Financial Controller Nick Wykeman as finance director with immediate effect.
Wykeman was financial controller at respiratory drug developer Skyepharma until August 2015. Skyepharma was bought by Vectura Group PLC in a deal which completed on Friday.
"We welcome Nick to his role as finance director and look forward to his contribution to the company as we continue to grow the business internationally on all fronts. His international experience in life sciences is well suited to the role and we're pleased to have attracted him to Allergy Therapeutics," Chairman Peter Jensen said in a statement.
Wykeman replaces Ian Postlethwaite who is moving to healthcare technology group NetScientific PLC to become its chief financial officer.
NetScientific confirmed Postlethwaite will join the company on Monday.
"We are pleased to welcome Ian as our new chief financial officer. This is an important period for NetScientific as we move forward with a renewed focus on digital health, diagnostics and therapeutics. Ian's extensive experience in the healthcare sector and the capital markets will prove invaluable as the company continues to progress," Chairman Richard Sykes said.
Shares in Allergy Therapeutics were untraded on Friday morning, last quoted at 24.90 pence, while shares in NetScientific were also untraded, last quoted at 79.80p.
