Add just a to add…..there’s nothing Schrödinger’s cat about this scenario and it’s very easy to be both long and short at the same time. I could be long in my ISA and short in my IG account……it’s not that remarkable.

But I can understand how that would be mesmerising for an old dipper like Broch.

No, he’s just long. If K increases his bid and it’s accepted then he’s quids in. If K pulls out then I continue to hold my shares and I wait for Royal Mail to return to profitability and then cash them in in a year or two. I’ve held since 2021 and I’ll happily hold until the time is right. See how simple this game is?

In this multiverse he’s the former. Although I wouldn’t really say ‘seasoned’ as he’s only been in the game for about 5 years.

Just to give some background information on isleworthSpy so you can decide whether to take his post into consideration.

He went on strike and lost thousands of his own money only to be shafted by the union even though he was told he was on a hiding to nothing here.

He said he was waiting for the share price to go to a quid. He’s still waiting.

He said VESA and Kretinsky would NEVER bid for IDS. The rest is history.

I’m not stating that…..because the number could be large or small depending on how big the fish is. My average price is 301p and that makes up roughly 15% of my investment portfolio.

That’s all you need to know…..but then again your about to ingeniously pull it all apart…..
