Why the MM's and the brokers are. That's why the lunchtime 3.9M trade wasn't reported until after hours. If it had been reported when it was made the effect would have been to create a resurgence in the SP which they didn't want yesterday afternoon.
But it WAS like old times to see a 3.9M trade anyway!
And on the subject of the SP, bearing in mind we weren’t anywhere near 4.7p for 3 hrs before it, that late reported 13:29 trade of 3.9 million shares @ 4.695p ? GLA & best wishes for a relaxed long w/e.
The spread was very wide yesterday. Some consolidation around this level will be a good setup for the next leg.
On this very point I recall reading on one bulletin board some time ago ( apologies I cannot which one ) that One chap ( an absolute idiot!, said as soon as he sold any shares in a company, the price went up! As it happened so many times he decided to sell a few at a time in an attempt to beat the system But needless to say he got it wrong yet again. Selling and hindsight are always talking points This will recover if for no reason other than The Company is good and they have news flow that most assert is going to be very positive. Have a great Easter.
Hopefully they have finished the trading behind the scenes.
Ezhik @ 15:41 Yeah but.. you can guarantee if you’d done that, this morning’s RNS would’ve contained something that’d’ve sent the SP on to 6p ! Just the game we’re in, the way it is. GLA.
Don't knock yourself there were very few sales above 5p and the price will soon recover . The best is yet to come sit tight and watch you'll get another chance for certain!
It's been a very strange couple of days.
A good weekend and a better week next week after lots of alcohol and things will look better through blurred vision.
Should have stuck with my initial thoughts and took the 5p target. Would be buying back almost 20% more shares today
To be profit taking, indeed, between now and the drill the term yo-yo springs to mind...
About time you lot had a chance ed day, all this blue must have been getting annoying. Still gutted I missed my 2.5p buy in
Look forward to next phase of growth at ZPHR. Things could move very quickly after successful 36-2R drill.
Tbf, the briefest of DYOR reveals Cat Canyon Resources to be a relative tiddler, operating in an oil field that peaked over 70 yrs ago in the early 1950s & also that the Co itself took a pasting from the local environmental lobby during Andy’s time there. All good learning experience tho & Utah should prove a far more positive regulatory environment, plus the Paradox project will hopefully take Andy back to dealing with the sort of numbers he was used to, pre his MBA. Can only wish him all the best because his success will be our success. GLA.
So will the next RNS be awarding share options or whatever to the newbies gravy train?
Let them do something first that proves there worth, got enough at Chelsea FC come in on astronomical wages and are complete crap :-)
Andy looks to be a great asset himself.
His outlook for the company, with his help is quite adventurous and shows how the company as a whole is going to create a major asset in the Paradox and beyond.
Like the sound of this ..... 'During his tenure at Cat Canyon, the company grew from the 19th to the 10th largest oil company in California in less than four years, growth which was largely achieved through an active horizontal drilling campaign'.
Strongly implied they believe the grant of instructions to the drillers as the preferred option to a farm in.
Let’s see.
The stockmarket is closed tomorrow and Monday.
Yes clearly building for significant expansion.
Are certainly coming thick and fast.
Obviously the more operations, the more personnel required.
Anyway here's to another good day with forward momentum.
For the amount of helium in that second RNS - that makes it a thousand times the value compared to the first RNS - sounds quite a valuable resource depending on how much they locate and for a relatively small outlay. Goodd that they have another potential income stream they can spread the risk with and hopefully add quite a bit of revenue at the same time.

Tbf, looking at some of the relatively chunky (for Zephyr) sells today, would suggest they may be traders, perfectly reasonably, banking up to 100% profit & poss within a month, even allowing for the spread, so not too shabby. Just personally I’m holding over 3 1/2 times my orig buy in 3 yrs ago & happy to hold a while yet. GLA.
From Malcy's blog..
This could supply some decent upside for Zephyr, helium is a growing market in the USA and Zephyr may have plenty here. Subject to a potential farm-out this may become a nice little earner for the company. More later…
More later... wonder what he learnt from his talk with Colin recently
No I am definitely not advocating selling I'M holding! W51 I just thought that someone might have bought when the intended to sell. Too much news to come in the short term to be selling . Another good day and more to follow!
