Could still drag on but, looking at the current sp, even with the rise from 35 and seeing where this was before the strike, there's at least a couple of bags in this so, for the first time (in a long time), going to hold, even if our jolly old seller strikes again. (i'm comforted by the fact they were selling at the rising price from 37 up to y'days 44 so lost out on a good chunk of the rise).
cheers, all.
Do people sell 2 shares at a time just to print the lower candle? I don't get it
Just for forward guidance. and they already have mumbai to reference as the reason for the expansion. should also get comments about how US revenue will grow on strike ending (assuming it ends before then!)
still hoping for next week on that.
Yes, though 30 Nov too soon to capture the impact of Chennai...
Thought i'd add a little something something to the headline.
added office in turkey earlier in the year, now growing India.
was only looking for a rise from the US strike ending but India is a nice bolt on. now looking forward to a very positive results on 30 Nov.
Good news this morning, especially in a region unaffected by the strikes - enormous markets, and from local reports the technology is cutting-edge.
But, if they bought on the drop to 33? doesn't look substantial enough to be an ii, even though it happens on each small rise.
odd trading, imo. but, if the next news comes this week then it won't matter how many shares they sell as they'll get absorbed by the buys.
still gung ho to the weekend an happy with my average.

I don't have timelines as it's pointless until you can see the speed of buying and whether the support levels remain. all i'm saying is there are plateaux in the past 6-12 months that acted as support/resistance which are good targets on the way back up.
of course, that's presuming the news IS positive this week.
What are your timescales on the first 2 targets?
Zoo Digital is international company & still expanding with Acquisitions & Hubs.
If it happens this week, i have 63 as first target, then 120 as the news develops and hollywood and the tv majors start ramping their autumn schedules and productions and then, finally, sometime next year, 200. after that... well, i seriously doubt i'll still be in it by then so... and if the sp struggles before then probably out sooner.
but in the near term... all very encouraging.
SAG-AFTRA Deal With Studios Reportedly In "Final Stretch" To End Actors' Strike. https://screenrant.com/sag-deal-studios-reported-update-actors-strike/
90 terms irrelevant, completion approval irrelevant. Booking the revenue and forecasting the profit only are relevant.
As soon as they can say they're on track for x profit, they've justified the sp.
I think you're missing the point that people will als be anticipting that £1+ price and will want it. you won't have to wait for results to see the benefits of a rise.
It will take around a year to get results that reflect normality, SP will stay low for a lot longer. Once /If the strike end the writers will start up again but not need ZOO immediately, then you got contracts to negotiate + digitizing + completion approval + say 90 day payment terms etc. We should see a small uplift as the SP will lead results but nothing too exiting for quite a while.
I think £1 is a reasonable target in a few months' time.
It would be helpful to hear a press release post strike to update on business rolling back in, even if to say no change in outlook
Feels like i'm talking to myself (which is fine, but... )
Definitely worth checking the ZOO price just prior to the strike which start on 14 July. count this as a ramp, just in case the deal comes through this week.
if it doesn't then, obviously...

... and major actors posted open letter saying they won't accept poor deal so companies know they have to pretty much match writers' deal or get damned close to it.
but, as you say, if it doesn't happen monday than it'll bag at some other time!
