Is this drop related to commercial energy price increases? Are electricty suppliers allowed to make significantly higher increases for commercial customers to subsidise price caps on residential customers?
as a small business owner i can assure you i don't pay less for my electricity and i have no 6 month price cap. Prices have been increased immediately. Some businesses will be on fixed deals but when they run out the impact will be significant.
Re the price drop XPF need to give us a H1 update (30/6) as the % revenue increase is critical. Difficult to value it based on reported numbers
Continues to fall, is JW or a fellow big shareholder selling more shares?? May be a distressed seller or general fear amongst PIs.
Hoping this doesn't go the way of REVB or a cash raise isn't called.
businesses typically pay less for electricity, but I get where you are coming from
If this is projected for households ...
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-62475171
What the heck is projected for businesses such as XPF. Might as well close the doors, shut up shop and wait until prices come down.
some maybe just get pi**ed but drinking among younger people is in decline overall, a significant proportion value experiences more
You know what I meant. They ain't spending 6quid on a pint at an escape room think you need a reality check.
Students just wanna party get pjssed. Escspe room lol
The price for a pint in a student union bar in the UK is £2.30 on average, and my bet is they would spend more for a fun night out. Then there are people just wanting a night out after a hard day at work.
£1 a pint, in what century? ROFL
Students have rent to pay, need to eat, buy clothes, books, have travel costs etc...
You think there gun go out doing escape rooms every weekend you are mistaken. They'll be online gaming, having house parties and going for £1 a pint nights at the student union not paying £6 a pint at an escape room lmao
In September you will have full universities with bored students with big bank balances , town centre leisure industries will do very well
Let's not forget the millions NOT going abroad [again] this summer.
I think you are underestimating how much young people like to go out and enjoy themselves, especially students. Also look how much people spend to watch a football match. This won't stop, the bigger effect on profits will be energy costs, but they will come down along with oil prices. AIMHO.
Will they hit there revenue target though it is doubtful given wider pressure on peoples pockets. If an RNS comes out with a below expectations i.e a profit warning, in these times then wow..even inline with expectations rns are seeing stocks get battered.
I'm not sure xpf are going to, hit there target sales. That younger demographic are not immune to inflation they all have cars on finance nowadays and interest rates will affect.
They're saving for homes that get more expensive by the minute
Cost of clothes etc all gone up.
Everyone talking like they have unlimited money and are going to be splashing on boom battle etc.. every week. Dont think so. Still think the worse is to come here but let's see. Whens the results due anyone?
Those people hit hardest by inflation make up a small percentage of XPF's target demographic.
It's far more of a focus that XPF continue to deliver a world class product and continue to meet their venue roll-out target.
The BoD have already demonstrated their ability to be nimble and able to adapt to changing macro conditions.
At 15.6p the SP is priced to buy. IMHO
145000 people at F1 on race day at £100 a ticket what tough times ????
It is grim in the hospitality sector ...sadly

Shows the quality of some of these boards when new4yradw posts a target and there is 4 likes. A poster who only a few days ago clearly falsified claims about a large investor…shameful and sad that LSE is going this way with poor moderating
... going into a well known sofa store ... the number of customers was zero.
That said, the likes of xpf may well experience some down turn in sales. Whether it will be a severe down turn is the big question.
To some extent I agree with you n2t. However I think people will still treat themselves to low ticket purchases inc pub visits etc. Just walked past a Costa and it was full with punters spending £3 for a coffee. Where cuts are being made are bigger ticket items, e.g. recently watched the flow g
I see the lieing clown is back. Got any more stories you want to tell us ?
In a ressesion , high petrol prices , high food prices , what do people cut back on ...?? It's an easy answer really , this is why this share will carry on down. Imho I have a 10 pence target , people are cutting back heavy
