If Alan B has any sense he would be retracting the defamatory comments and exiting stage . It would be particularly bad to be saying such things AND trading the stock.
Ah what...where I work, starting work without contract is the norm, while waiting for the slowwww bureaucracy to justify its existence... visa et al. None of them failed to materialize. On the contrary, I've seen scraped contracts because the employee couldn't start when they said they would!
This Ghana adventure deviates from the usual pattern with a LOI accompanied by doing set up and work for free. It allowed MPS to meet its stated opening deadline.
The concern is that WSG are not following business norms and boundaries. Starting work without a contract and failed timelines, even short term ones which should be predictable. As small punters it’s difficult to understand, and have to follow black flags such as the cannacord firesale
IanB, were the PF emails just re assuring that all is still well with the contract and the haggling is just normal part of the process, both parties will want this nailed so probably last few issues to work through with a customer who is probably still haggling other contracts related to the port. B
You have certainly changed stance from earlier this month Alan when you were very bullish. Is that solely on todays news that the contract is not yet finalised?
Nothings changed, other than a lot more staff being trained up by wsg... 2000 containers scanned so far - on the soft start up etc etc...
Impatience can be a killer on aim. Seen a few emails from PF today, i dont think there’s any concerns just impatient pi,s . It could still come any day, my timeframe was mid august. Maybe i should move that to late August but it could come any time. Legal documents can drag on a bit. Buying a house wouldn’t be done this fast.
Agreed wsg has been a serial let down but they have never come this far down the line. If they some how manage to screw this one up they need a new negotiator. Big game changer this and it will come. Cc selling has given an opp for those who want to build a stake imo.
Alan: of those two options I’d have to go for not understanding AIM.
But then lots of other people seem to be in my boat...there are often claims of pumping up the share price before a capital raise. At lest we can now put that theory to bed.
Note to self: if share price is high then no fear of raise. management on AIM like low share prices so they can raise. Think I’ve got that. Thanks.
"companies on AIM raise whilst the SP is low,"
What's not to like it? Let's see what WSG does now to counteract the new low. Signed contract by the end of this month, perhaps...? Another JV...? Anyway, the SP should go up after CC sells its last 250K soon.
Those remarks sound highly defamatory Alan P. For your sake, you had better have unequivocal proof.
Oh dear, the muppets are out today. Please satisfy my curiosity, why do you think that PF & Co would want to help Cannacord exit?
Alan, if your rather imaginative theory were true they would decfinitely have raised capital whilst the share price was higher.
You really are Alan Partridge aren't you, just about sums up that statement you made.
Calm down dear, don't lose your mind just because you didn't get the instant gratification you hoped for. Tomorrow is another day.
Logic...?
