Mike - last time I counted there were about 635 MP's goingthrough the division lobbies
Mike - last tiem I checked there were about 635 MP's on the payroll but you're probably thinking there's only
about 400 who bother to turn up.
Yes, ... for a start we will now have 400 MP's walk through out detectors every day....
to the inhouse pub!!! Shame it is not like Tema, where they get paid per container (MP) , WSG will really be in the money then.

Perhaps a realisation dawning on the significance of this contract win. Value is decent, not amazing, but it's the follow on effect that could be very significant in negotiations and with future tenders/quotes.
We are on the move north
I am staying in to watch the spectacle!
Will not be surprised to see a delayed reaction for what I thought was a decent piece of news yesterday....sometimes this is the market ways...
Whatever happens one thing is for sure, the latest contract with the government will do the company great deal when negotiations take place for new business.
IMHO. GLA.
Yesterday's news was very good and it is refreshing to see the price not drop a little like usual. If this isn't the start of lots more deals then I will be surprised. Of course, the one I am waiting for is either in SA or another managed contract.
It would be great if the Tech dept also started to win more of these recurring revenue contracts:)
Covid sales are nice short term but its the recurring revenue contracts that will transform WSG.
The more I think about this win the more impressed I am that we won such a scrutinised tender. Think about it....the Houses of Parliament for goodness sake.
A brilliant win for PF and the team. for the recurring revenue and the huge kudos and credibility this brings.
Income probably front loaded as we have to ditch the old gear and put in ours....so hopefully will look good in H2 numbers.

Max £1.8m over years, is £360k a year.
proph, not sure which government department ran the competition, but it would have been under the EU regulations meaning there are no extra points for having already been awarded a government contract in the future, however what it will do is show wsg now have the ability to WIN government contracts under competitive pressure. Depending on the weighting between price and competency will determine if they won this on strength or by a low ball bid price..... Tema has me thinking they go low on price... so it will be interesting to say how much money they actually make on this potential £200K per annum contract if the plan by demanders is to rinse every penny out of the limit of liability. B
I would suspect in the re-negotiation of the contract being extended, say for a further 5 years, then the financial aspect would also be renegotiated
Yep, so it could be for just a few quid.
Funny that, it is exactly the amount of profit WSG made in the last five years - not exceeding £1.8m.
That’s what it says... also says could end up being extended? Does that mean more money or more time for the same money? Say in the event of a closure of the palace?
If the palace closes they will relocate somewhere else - surely as the trusted supplier this may mean more units on the cards?
Additionally, as we are now in the ‘fold’ will this open more doors for government projects?
yup all good news from this, 5 year contract, we vetted well and it'll be a high profile/visibility contracrt, perhapsgain more work from it.
would have been nice to have been 1.8 million per year, but as i read it it was not to exceed 1.8 million across the life of the contract, right ?
Tony baldly has pulled a few strings- will provide some oversight on his intermittent visits- and provided good value to his primary employer
Interesting to note, how do you know it's low margin?
It’s a small business focusing on revenue growth without associated profit
They secured the current contract based on low margin- similar model to Tema. It’s great that the name now also has some meaning
It’s important to keep the salaried workers in business- work is work
Anybody want to work out £1m added to our market cap and 10m shares added work out at?
I can't believe my figures.
Didn't take into account we get paid for the warrants, even less of a drop then.
Well if it’s 10millikn warrants at 10p that’s still another £1 million in our kitty....easy enough to pay off the loan.
Correct me if I am wrong but warrants were at 12.5p?
If we get there then WSG will get another £1..87million in cash in bank....would easily pay off loan.
Today’s RNS is a beauty. Love the credibility this gives us and covers the derrière of all decision makers that appoint WSG.

If 15 million shares were dumped right now the SP would go down from 0.0725 to 0.0685p a grand drop of 0.004p by my calculations. A temporary loss of £4000 per million stock holding.
I think.
Not counting any over reaction.
Easily to swallow with some good news.
