Excellent news potentially.still deep in the woods, but is there a glimpse of sunlight appearing?time will tell.
I was encouraged by last year's Innovani challenge in that it wasn't just one winner. Reading the article about the 'winners' first time around - it refers to the first six and that further consortia would be announced. So VRS might have a much better chance than 15 to 1 of getting something out of this. However, I'm not aware of any further consortia being announced. So agreeing how the consortia are set up may not be straightforward.
I do not think, vrs gave up cvd graphene biz, machine, patent and so on.
Gnanomet also do not make big money like vrs korea. Take time. I believe vrs board member decision.
A date has been set for a civil litigation.
Hopefully it will be resolved well. keep you updated with any new information.
vrs do not share dangerous relation with GL that vrs believed, supported why ? GL fired vrs korea board memer.
explain please. GL do not want good relation ship with vrs ?
how to manage vrs korea, how about expensive cvd graphene machine ? vrs already invested a lot of money, RNS please !
Stop whingeing you prat.
What it seems to me is that the battery industry and the rest of potential customers don't have such a high regard as our chiefs.I hold GTR,Haydale ,BEM,and of course here, between the four I'm down at the moment over 37k,that's 6 months wage for a train driver.Hope I'm wrong but, none of the companies dealing with graphite/graphene haven't been in favour for quite a while.
True but I don’t think most of the business would come from individuals but if the sports organisations they already work with take up graphene wear for whole squads and staff then the knock-on effect could be interesting. Agree though that there still feels like a long long way to profit.
For the individual I’m not sure the name ‘graphene-wear’ is not quite appealing enough. Thinking about Gore-Tex etc
Yes, I saw that - apologies for jumping the gun. However, it doesn't change the fact that Umbro would have to sell ridiculous amounts of 4 pieces for VRS to profit substantially.
You may be each referring to different sources, the claim on X is ‘all’ pro training pieces

Seems you changed their script: "Made for those that train hardest and featuring Graphene-Wear™ technology across key pieces, keeping you cool and comfortable during intense sessions."
'Key' pieces, not all pieces...
Only their Pro Training Elite products, and only for men - 4 products in total - hardly ground-breaking...
UMBRO advertising campaign today.
UMBRO PRO TRAINING IS BACK
Made for those that train hardest and featuring Graphene-Wear™ technology across all pieces, keeping you cool and comfortable during intense sessions.
Start buying and maybe we’ll see some value before Christmas.
Pro Training Elite. Available now.
The result must be imminent. I had a quick look at most of the 15. They're quite diverse in terms of what they provide. Some look serious competition to VRA, others less so. Difficult to know whether there might be any geopolitical bias. Six start-ups received backing in May '22 with the last award. Hey Tim I've had a good look and I don't believe the winner has been announced yet as I cannot find it anywhere. Last up to date info I could find seems to say they were sifting through the 15 companies that were shortlisted out of the 70 entrants to decide a winner
Has the winner of this been announced yet? Would be good for VRS or have i missed it?
Well I know in America they do use graphene in the body armour as it's bullet proof. I think a company called Citizen armor proved it by shooting their graphene bullet proof vest over 110 times and not one bullet got through. Graphenes time is coming people are just blind to it. More R&D being done now than ever before, its in the medical industry, sports, military, construction.... It's clearly beginning to show it's real value and versatility. There's even a study being done on the potential of it being used on the battlefield to print body armour on 3d printers. Imagine that just dropping machines on the front line and producing body armour, gloves, hats, drones. This is how they see modern warfare going
Just a thought. Why is Graphene not used in UK Military Helmets, body armour ,Combat clothing etc?.
Hey Paul I like the trail of thought, however I recently watched a documentary on this issue and to be honest the concrete is too far gone, it has become so brittle that it can almost be broken by hand, don't even need a hammer, it really is that bad that it will all have to come down. It's the old saying 'you can't polish a turd' I guess. However there's nothing to say that VRS can't get involved in the new product/concrete that will need to go up in it's place. Slabs made to size could be produced at the Banagher precast site with cementene and delivered to projects anywhere in the UK with ease. I mean it's a win win if VRS are hungry enough and pursue such an endeavour
School buildings built using aero concrete falling down all over the UK, So to replace they need a new light weight concreate solution could this be graphene based, lighter and stronger, also could his be sprayed on in a layer both under and over existing Aero concreate to prevent water from undermining old Aero concrete, with the underside sprayed with new layer of graphene based concrete to restore original strength?
just a thought
Looks like vrs korea almost closed the door. Heard that Person in charge in vrs korea appear 1~2 times a month in office. cvd graphene machine is not operating anymore due to machine trouble, but vrs korea do not repair. why ?
No money to repair cvd machine ?
Please do not give up cvd graphene business.
Board member in vrs very carefully invested with 2 times high money compare to competitor.
As I shared, Currently that competitor got almost 8m pound from invest company and bank.
