Haven't bothered checking this for a long time and can see why .The usual made up conversations by the same person under a different username are still going on pathetic. What a load of depressing cr*p this share is. Utterly pitiful. All the best to the old long term holders hope everyone doing well and have moved on from this junk share.

Here's reminding you, 3 CB - there's 31 days in October. Do you not no nuffink :-)
Sparrow re "Good enough bargain for me - will not be this low by end of October (even end of today?) imo."
Remind me, what did they close at yesterday and what are they now trading at?
Coivgaz - As I first argued back in April, this company needs a large injection of capital. You put my case well for a merger/takeover. Seems to align well with the interests of New Age/ Blvn for the Etinde project; or a target for SEY. Roy is ex-Kerogen (New Age); YF Finance is heavily invested in both VOG and SEY.
RF68 , what an analogy . So every new low is good so long as you ain't bust...yet. The writing is on the wall , bust is on it's way one day.
What a waste of the infrastructure they put in , such a shame.
That pipeline will earn some company millions one day , maybe not this one.
You're kinda making my point Sparrow. Not sure how you were defining factor of 6 but even if you just meant my 5 plus 6, ie 11 purchases, then that has moved way out of your 5% punt territory and deeply into an obsession. Worried for you.

Horrendous update.
If I recall, this was once touching 92p.. the value distraction is a simply unbelievable feat.
what happened here today? unfortunately sp declines happens all to often with Vog it seems looking at the history. Best avoided.
Sparrow. I did say at least 5 (from memory)
At a guess, 3CB, you're probably out by a factor of 6.
"I don't know why you think I've made 5 purchases in total "
Your posting history
Thanks for the concern, 3CB.
I think I made a reasonable assessment of the risks in my post to Kion.
I don't know why you think I've made 5 purchases in total - quite bizarre.
Yes, this slide has been disappointing; but ask me again by the end of October - I think that, at the very least, by then they will have validated my 2 purchases today.
I genuinely worry for you. And the reason is that I see a pattern with you and VOG that I recognise from my own early experience with VOG. Namely getting caught up in the hype and averaging down/catching a falling knife whilst convincing yourself that each purchase is a cheap bargain. Don't worry, you're not alone. There are a number on this board who all got sucked in as well as those off the board such as dear old Dolores from the AGMs.
The only thing that puzzles me is that unlike the rest os us, you had the history in front of you to act as a warning to stay well away.
Yet you have gone from a 5% punt in your portfolio, to a 10% and even mpre since with at least five forays into VOG, each one at a lower price than the previous purchase strangely enough. You strike me as a fairly knowledgable and intelligent sort of guy and yet you too have fallen for the promises tomorrow that spew out of VOG and continued to invest with no plausible reason other than a vague hope that one or other of a few gamechangers will actually happen this time.
I hope you're right but when you eventually catch up with me on falling knife purchases, hopefully the penny will drop.
Sincerely good luck with your 5 purchases to date. You're gonna need it. 3card
Goodness another new low of 2.40 today, not long now to 2p.
The sp has followed the cash down the drain, cash raise after cash raise after consolidation etc etc etc. 2p cash raise plus with consolidation up to what about 80p then down to 57p another cash raise then down to 13p another cash raise now down to 2.5p and guess what another cash raise at 1p or 2p and maybe another consolidation x 40 ? all the time the money just washes down someones drain never to be seen again. But never mind there are always more punters that will cough up when the time is righjt.
My view too, Kion. Trusting the management is all important, and I get out as soon as I lose trust (SOU, SDX, IOG, I3E - to name a few which I've summarily dumped). Roy Kelly, however, comes across as a good egg (has slight west-country accent?) and there is a video of him speaking if you flick back through my posts - about May/June? I put in no more than a 10% of my portfolio here - like you say, a punt. But RF68 has taken a much larger position, and has a better knowledge of Roy (who is highly regarded in his industry, I understand).
Thanks happysparrow! And what's happened to this company's share price is just WOW and disgraceful! My gut feeling told me not to trust those directors and to get out ASAP with minimal loses as possible. The 108m+ losses is also eye watering . I'll dig into this further and might give it a small punt after I sell ALBA but only if I find that the new managers/directors are trust worthy and not only there to get big salaries. I wasn't sure if the previous ones could even run a bath... which in my opinion explains the current share price.
Quick overview, Kion:
It was a basket-case, with rotten management that have driven it into the ground and left a lot of legacy issues.
New management were appointed in Spring 2020.
The company is at a low point. It is at high risk of going bust if it loses the legacy issues.
However, it is a considerable opportunity if you believe it can be kept afloat and turned around - it's infrastructure is worth tens of millions of dollars alone.
There are some big opportunities pushing the SP up to 6/7p+ on early recovery, and 13p+ on merger imo:
Eneo debt payment; West Med sale; Aksa power station deal. However, my original reason for being here is the possibility of a merger/takeover by New Age or SEY - note my posts at the end of April - Roy Kelly and other are ex-Kerogen; Kerogen is the principal shareholder in New Age.
A lot of research needed - as high risk.
Good luck.
Can someone please explain to me what happened to this share and why its so low.
I brought this a few years back at 72.5p. then it dropped to the 40s which annoyed the hell out of me. Then it bounced back up to around 70p. I was lucky to sell out at a smaller loss that time at 69p during that bounce as I didn't trust the managements handling of the company and thought the share would fall back to 40p. I never once imagined that it would fall to these levels though. Can someone please tell me what happened and if its worth getting back in at these prices? ill obviously do some more research to decided but I am looking for a quick overview too.
