Oh dear! Looks like this will touch 67p today.. Nice work.. Margharitta... LOL!
I'm starting to get a little concerned that my entire investment in vod is at risk.
But will I sell? Of course not, I'll just sit and watch it go down and down !!
Somehow closed at 68.45.. lets see actual closing price in 5 minutes!
Wow, this is truly hopeless. Thought 68.77 was a bargain. Now it has gone even lower, oh dear me!
S.I.D.I. Please don't go jumping off any tall buildings. Unless you are a dead cat.
No, Dan I don't need to do that yet, only 0.2p down. Hope that we will have a dead cat bounce tomorrow. Hahahaha
I take no pleasure in this dire position and its plummeting overseas as I type. I’m down too btw
A little un pc joke to lighten the mood….
A guy walks into a bar and asks the barman whilst his wife was at home cooking dinner if he should invest all his money in Vodafone… ba dum tss
Since Margherita took over in April, the SP has tanked by nearly 30%. That's an extremely poor performance by anyone's standard and must call into question her suitability to continue as CEO. I know Rome wasn't built in a day but 8 months into her tenure the company's value is being pummeled, which is clearly not acceptable. Surely VOD must be worth more than £18 billion given its myriad of businesses and huge worldwide customer base! The 11% dividend is scant reward for the destruction of investors' capital. It really is a s**t show!

The word is growth
And Vod has none of it in revenue, profit, net customer gains despite what the massaged numbers say.
The only number growing is debt
Jax
''the only number growing is debt''
''Significant reduction in net debt to €33.4 billion''
https://investors.vodafone.com/sites/vodafone-ir/files/2023-05/Vodafone-FY23-Results-Announcement.pdf
Old news long
“Net debt increased by ?2.9 billion to ?36.2 billion (?33.4 billion as at 31 March 2023). This was primarily driven by the free cash outflow of ?2.0 billion and equity dividends of ?1.2 billion.”
They shouldn’t be allowed to pay a dividend when said dividend increases debt
VODs distributable reserves are based on overvaluation
What part of the recent demise of vod has nothing to do with bad management don't you get., You just keep throwing a wobbly, sack the C.E.O. at great cost to be replaced another C.E.O. untill you sack them. Vod's problems are not easy to solve, please just grow up. Bad management in the past perhaps, but move on please?
Jax
year on year there has been substantial reductions in debt in recent years, fo no let intra year figures muddy the waters - think a bit more.

No matter what share it is if it drops to new lows there is always people rushing to say how bad the share is and its going to crash more. Happens all the time.
There'll likely be a Net debt adjustment in the H2/FY figures with working capital swinging positive in H2 and adding back into Free Cash Flow, if I'm understanding it correctly, although it's very confusing.
My view looking purely at technicals on the daily chart, anyone buying now, trying to call the bottom is just gambling. Until this moves back up past 72p by a good few pennies, pulls back and strongly rejects 72p to show a change of direction, this is just in a constant down trend.
Jax, when will you sell the shares you bought at 70p?
I would hurry if I was you.
Fleeces, you has finaly admitted you has not understanded the finansials
Avi sold em 72p - thinking of buying back
Keep talking though lol
The sp is on a death spiral lol
Who needs to understand the financials when you can look at a picture?
