"I is very good at share dealing and I knows what I is doing"
Spoken like someone who sits in his bedroom in his elderly Mother's house; Still using a worn out gaming chair, with an open packet of biscuits and a stained coffee cup to the right of your keyboard. Just replace all occurrences of I in your content with Idiot and it all makes perfect sense:
Idiot is very good at share dealing and Idiot knows what Idiot is doing.
Avo cat 321 - Idiot is not worried about my posts took down.
They was all rubbish anyway.
Idiot does not care about what happens on hear.
Idiot has not come hear to make enemy's however.
You can do what you want.
Idiot is waiting for mid October death slide and then by some shares.
Not Vodafone though.
Maybe you should be advising the companies who bought large percentages of Vodafone earlier this year for much higher prices. Your talent seems wasted here.
Vodafone teetering like the back end of the Titanic just before it snapped in half.
Don't say Mr Guttersnipe esquire hasn't let you know.
I is very good at share dealing and I knows what I is doing.
Jed, looks that way. Men on camels are very shrewd , TEF also pays a high dividend like Vod , come mid Nov ( interim result ) the picture will be much clearer around what's happening with the dividends....atb
Its not how it works, they will use a broker and buy the shares and the going market rate, but as they buy shares the float that they have left to buy dwindles and this should push the SP up, ergo Supply and Demand.
What does it mean they offer 1.40p, to whom and where? can we sell at this price?
So Saudi Arabia's STC Group has amassed a 9.9% stake in Telefonica worth 2.1 billion euros ($2.25 billion), in a move to become the Spanish telecom giant's top shareholder.
and also with AEU's who want to increase VOD holding to 20% it looks like interesting times. Certainly looks like the middle east have plans to take more control of phone companies in many countries.
I think they should offer £1.40 for the next lot of VOD shares.
Jax, you speak for yourself, not for the board.
We all know Vod even with a blue pill cannot hold a semi
Flaccid Vod
DanielN. Yes, it is a big shame, that some on here can't express themselves without reffering to animal faeces. Sad, or what? I think his other car, is a Reliant Robin? Lovelly Jubbly.. (No dissrespect to dell boy)!
Listen to Desperate Dan advocat 321, he know what he on about.
Avocet. The dow jones is down 196 points = minus .56%, so no big deal. The vod sp however on the nasdaq is up about .54% at 9.36 which equates to about 74.5 on the L.S.E. So should be up tomorrow,(who knows). My question to you is, why do you take anything the Gutter says seriously ? We all know he is a complete idiot, he even admits it himself. He is a gutter snipe. Of course he is talking rubbish,& he is proud of it. Very sad of course. At least jax is not a, complete idiot?
Advocat 321 - You will see a huge correction with the low mid October...
Yawn gutter. The Dow has been in a normal trading range today, and all week, and all month. You are talking rubbish.
Dow Jones down nearly 200.
It's starting....
Jax!!!there you are!! Promising 50s again? You couldn't even get it right on a daily basis. Lol
What a clown. Long term VOD will likely climb back to 200p imo
Short to medium term will see the SP at 50p
Long term Vod won’t be around imo
Let’s face it, it’s only dog poo if you paid too much for it. I’m certain many people will be doing nicely out of this in the short to medium term. If your not one of those, suck it up, as that’s investing I’m afraid. Calling it names won’t help you unfortunately.
Fleccy thanks for the overview.
Hello (again) Porsche1946
Perhaps more comparable to dogshyt would be your malodorous personality. I offer very little to these boards being a financial dumbass and despite having a significant paper loss as a lth don't feel the need to continually post vitriolic comments, all of which reference animal faeces. May I suggest you either get some psychological support or join an alternative forum for those with a canine fetish.
ATB :-)
Pension fund just launched a lawsuit against Amazon suing them for picking Bezos Blue Origin as the launch provider for Project Kipper.
They know this inside deal is going nowhere. Just a way for Bezos to get Amazon to feed cash into Blue Origin which has barely managed 22 launches since 2016. VOD should of done more DD before backing this. Hopefully they have not paid anything upfront.
For comparison, SpaceX does 22 launches every 10 weeks now, cutting that to every 2 months from Jan 2024. By the time Blue Origin have launched one sat, say 2 years from now, spaceX will of launched another 14,000 (12 launches per months 50 sats per launch). You see the problem?

"there's also other solutions for sp**** population areas"
lol
There's also other solutions for spa rse population areas.
"if they (amzn) have identified a service which can be delivered at scale and value, vod may have made a savvy decision."
amazon are late to the game but it'll make little difference in the long run, since the average lifespan of a low earth orbit satellite is around 5 to 6 years; all the satellites launched in the last year will likely be deorbited and replaced by 2029. the leo providers have decided on different strategies, oneweb uses far fewer satellites, at twice the orbit of starlink, and although oneweb services will likely have more delay, it wont be significant enough to cause problems for communication providers backhauling through them.
there's also other solutions for sp**** population areas, like high altitude platforms. high altitude platforms have less uplink/downlink delay than leo's and can provide 4/5g service direct to end users, meaning only a network access ground station required, without the need for localised base stations, but they need to be refueled after a period of weeks and need somewhere to land and take off. probably the biggest disadvantage of hap's is that you'll need more of them to provide coverage over large areas. it may be possible to use hap's in combination with leo's, time will tell how the tech develops going forward.
I can't make any comments about this announcement's technical credentials as I have no knowledge in this area, but from an operational perspective, Amazon is fundamentally a customer driven organisation. Quite unique in that sense for such a massive organisation.
If they (amzn) have identified a service which can be delivered at scale and value, vod may have made a savvy decision.
Jax, this is getting better and better today. Why are you so quiet?
Are you embarrassed again? I understand totally, your behavior on here is embarrassing.
