Funny about MDV is the way she started her job saying "we are not good enough" as if she is going to rectify that.. All these time she did nothing new from what Nick Read did.. With such a huge debt pile and majority of the Vodafone's loss making business don't know how they are going to survive... This time looks like we may 50p range soon. Vodafone now need Director from outside...
Althuogh this cuold go up obvvios. I got know idae. I has never had any shares.
Garonne very grim indeed with everything against Vod including MDV, she’s the biggest liability and should be stated as such in the accounts notes.
Latest in with the divi on Fri leaves me about even but will be in the red tomorrow that’s for sure.
Gordon, doublin downe is puttin all yer egs in one bascet.
There are hundreds of other shares, diversification shuold alwayz take priority.
Only a lunatic wood put everyting in dis.
I am also of the opinion that MDV will be sacked imminently.
Worst CEO of note. Reminds me of Truss.
Same sort of haircut too
And no doubt will again tomorrow. What a grim investment this has turned out to be. Hoping for something positive here, anything!
I agree too.. With FED not in a hurry to cut interest rate, MDV will have to regret her decision. She need to act fast now or she will be sacked and that I can see is imminent.
Gordon57, That sounds like a very serious question, and i'm not sure anyone here would want to answer it, but please be aware there are a few clowns on this board who are just wind up merchants, so please DYOR and be very careful
best of luck to you
Whatever MDV does the market disagrees with
Maybe the bint should take the hint
Sinking overseas too
lol
The share dipped into 65p today.
Obviously the Vod share price has plummeted badly and doesn;t seem to be able to find a support level, at least not yet, however I see reference to Vodafone potentially going bust or at least the share price dropping to penny share status. Can anybody who really understands the financial implications of Vodafone's debt, offset by the vastness of the business and it's cash generative characteristics, explain dispassionately what the likelihood of such domesday scenarios really is?
I'm significantly (for me ) invested in Vod but not in any asset threatening way and I'm still toying with averaging down if the price drops to 65p, so would appreciate any genuine insight that's not coming from a ramping/ de-ramping perspective
many thanks
Good for you - whos Mikey69
Without stupid people there wouldn't be anyone to laugh at.
J & G both know that's correct, or probably not.
That and anything in the 50s

Vodafone took the pith when they took over orange many years ago!
"German inflation slowed sharply in January to its lowest level since mid-2021, official data showed, boosting hopes the European Central Bank may start to cut interest rates in the near future.
Prices in Europe’s largest economy climbed 2.9pc in the year to January, down from a reading of 3.7pc in December, according to preliminary data from federal statistics agency Destatis."
