Dan - what has the Joint operation Commissioner got to do with VOD - only joking of course !
POLY cost me a few quid, but I did escape partly at 230p and 214p.
It could still be a great recovery play - but will take longer than anyone expected (those that dived in hoping for immediate bounce).
Rob - DLG comes to the sick bay with many of our other patients. It was at 360p when I first bought in 2018, and IMB was over £29, RDSB at £27 etc etc. VOD was a high flier at £2 too. Long term gains are hard to come by. You have to be nimble and take profits when you can with these mature companies. Finding the acorns that are going to grow is the apple of our dreams.

All going well here anyway Dan, we have past the 130 barrier let's hope it can continue
Anybody who bought poly shares, has to be a bit suspect?? The words Suck, & ere come to mind? J.O.C.
Ok, so I cheated, but it was a genuine mistake? honest? Anyway, I want rob to win, he needs some luck? , as long as the evil mole- man comes last I am happy! He cant help it?
Hi csdi, did you notice what happened to dlg again today, i should have stayed with psn ?, I think Dan is thinking of selling some of vod around 135, maybe he will be joining you on psn ha ha, i like to wind him up
I think we should have closed this weeks comp at 11.35 today - just as Dan posted at 130p LOL
No problem Dan, will add you, looking good so far, hopefully a good finish on Friday
Gla
Sorry rob, I thought I had put in my guess, must have forgot to send it. Can I go 1.32.1 please. As long as the evil mole man loses? I am only joking of course, as you know, I welcome constructive negative opinions? Boo-Hissssss.
Guess I am a day late . Currently cooling off in Zante
The gbp has some pep in it’s step, and a few things like property are drifting up. Maybe the bottom in markets is in. My 115p will look more like the ramblings of a madman it is.
Big earnings in US this week. We’ll see if all problems have been priced in already, or the next leg of blind panic begins.
Tesla Wednesday. You can all point and laugh at me.
Hi All,

I'm a fan of VOD, but how on earth do they come to a fair value of £7.60?
Not in any way shooting the messenger by the way, thanks for sharing NewSid!
Nice one Fred
Stockopedia moved VOD to superstock & simplywallstreet put VOD fair value @ £7.60.
I will go for 136.7
Thanks Rob
GLA
back to that discussion last week, Gary says he has sold all his shares and will rebuy at a later time, and Fleccy says there has never been a better time to buy or stay invested
With all prices going up due to inflation, won't that make the sp rise as well ?, i know people will cut down on non essentials such as netflix , but people will still have to insure their cars, and the younger people i work with would give up eating and heating before they would give up their phones, house prices are going into reverse, but share prices there are very low right now, so expect there will be some winners and losers, will leave you experts to decide
nice one Soton, are you going to be this weeks top ramper, we will find out later this evening, hope you win
Dan, Mole is not the enemy, we need constructive opposition, we just need to see the sp rise, as that's the only way we can change his mind, so come on cheapshares we all want you to be right, 1.70 sounds good to me, so, might have to have a dip in the paddling pool later to cool down
good luck all, and stay safe in this heat
Nice one Fred......winner again....Rob can you put me down for 140 think it's gonna fly this week just stumbled across this
https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/markets/article-11020233/Vodafone-Group-Three-considering-merger-UK-divisions.html
Well done Fred on winning this week.
Next Friday close sp I will go 1.27
Thanks Rob and all ...
Virgin Media 02 has submitted an offer to buy TalkTalk that would value the Salford-based company at about £3bn including debt.
The proposal comes months after TalkTalk's owners hired Lazard to explore a potential sale of the company.
Hi Dan
Sorry but do not have spare funds to invest, and need to stick with my PSN long term plan.
Have cost myself quite a few quid trying to trade POLY and now bailed out.
Just like to keep an eye on the markets and enjoy the banter here.
As you say VOD holding up well - and beating PSN hands down over the last few mnths since I started my little ISA.
Maybe one day when PSN has recovered I can look at coming back to VOD !
Cheers - C
