Wish I had the spare cash to top up my RR. shares as much as I've topped up my list of filtered people today!
I don't post on here too often and am LTH.
I think the 'bidders' so far are just going off good results. I think we might be given news of a dividend payment and after Tufan said RR will look after the investors, it might elevate the SP more than just good annual results.
My prediction / random guess is 382p
Based upon Fools previous track record I think I'll stay positive on Rolls thank you :-)

And there we have it - £2.00 per share on HL :-)
Well done all. Onwards and upwards.
I reckon that whatever the price rises to David Perry & JPM will just reiterate 70p regardless. If it gets to £4.00 they'll still be saying 70p. In my mind they're just damaging their own credibility when the evidence shows we're on the up.
It also damages all other broker ratings. I've learned that, at the end of the day, it's just another opinion, they don't know anymore than anyone else. Might as well take advice from some nutter on facebook!
I'll stick to my own research. That broker rating page is now redundant.
Broke even too today. Great feeling not felt for a long time with RR. :)
Just going to keep holding as planned because it's got a lot of good going for it. Still see it as very cheap share atm.
Outstanding. I wonder how far it will tank on such positive news!!!! ;-)
On a serious note, it's got to restore a bit of confidence in this share.
Hi All,
New VOD shareholder herein for the long run.
I'm going for 132.7 for close of play Friday. Good luck all :-)
Don't think this has been posted since publication but it's nice to see some positive press for RR.
Hopefully a good day tomorrow, if not, it's yet another indicator of the bright future this company has.....
wish I had a few more pennies to top this up a bit!!

I get the whole buy when others are fearful mantra but, my goodness am I glad I only have a small position in this today. Bought in at 37, saw a 26% rise, thought the company had lots of promise then the BoD calls a shareholder meeting to ask for a raisin capitol and salary the back of.........................
absolutely nothing... not even a plan for a plan.
The science and patents maybe great but very few are landing. For a company with so much promise on paper it seems the CEO is selling it a bog paper at best.
If I lose my investment so be it but it seems like they're not even trying at the minute and asking for more of the back of such a shoddy presentation is insulting. I won't be investing any more until something big changes.
Ladies & Gents,
I'm quite a newbie and bought into RR. mostly at about £1.25 (I thought it was a good deal then and a quality company with a very bright future) and have averaged down slightly since then.
With all of the things RR has going for it in both the near future and longer term, from B-52 contract to no more travel restrictions and increased flying hours, SMR's to Qatari support, reduction in company debt, streamlining, imminent upgrading to investment grade, 2Bn more being paid off soon, dividends potentially coming back next year etc etc etc why on earth, if you intend holding this for longer than 12 months does anyone care what some muppet with a 36% success rate says?
I'm seeing it for the gift horse it is.... in fact I hope he re-assesses again in a few moths and lowers his rating even further because that's when I'll have extra money to back RR further. He's so consistently wrong I'd like to see what else he's offering his opinion on... if I just do the reciprocal to what he rates each share I reckon I'll make a mint.
Even if, by some miracle, he's right on RR. it hasn't dropped below 88 on this manufactured attempt to get weaker investors to sell so that JPM can hoover up the cheaper stock. The dude already has a crAppy reputation for accuracy so it's not as though he or JPM have anything to lose if he is incorrect AGAIN but, everything to gain.
My only problem is that I don't have any spare liquidity to top up but I'm very much looking forward to following what this analyst has to say on other shares in future.
If anything the SP will probably drop on the good news because......... well just good news makes the SP drop and bad news also seems to make the SP drop recently! ;-)
Good news incoming!!!!!

Thanks very much Slowandsteady and JTurkas, very much appreciated.
I've been doing a bit of googling to try and understand it for myself and have come across a really informative article that might benefit others with questions on rights issues too:
https://www.investorschronicle.co.uk/comment/2019/12/18/how-to-understand-a-rights-issue/
Thanks again for your help :-)
Hi Slowandsteady14,
Good info regarding 'the short story is - there was a rights issue, so for comparison purposes the highest RR has ever been is 400.' Thanks.
I'm quite new to this so am looking for a bit of education... how did you get to the 400 number please?
The chart shows the highest was 1081 in Aug 2018, I'm aware of the rights issue previously (before I bought into RR.) but don't understand how it relates to a highest relative price of 400. Could you explain please?
Sorry if it's a bit of a basic question but we all gotta start somewhere. :-)
Thanks in advance.
